“Dear Grace,

Below is a letter from our national Gypsy/Hungarian Pastor, Pali Rafael.  The church has recently went completely on their own:

‘BLESSINGS IN BIHARKERESZTES – God blessed the new church meeting place.  We really enjoy our new place.  We know very well that the fight starts just now.  But God said to us in Joshua 1, that He is with us – we don’t need to be afraid – we’ll win the city for Him.  God said also:  “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.” (Joshua 1:3) The last three days we spent with great joy and excitement.  Almost all the church members helped in preparing the church room for the Lord.  We were all there almost the whole day – every day.  And it became so beautiful!!!  Hallelujah!  Everybody who came today for our first service was amazed.  The church meeting was more than blessed.  God’s sweet presence was there and He showed us our new purpose for this community.  We understand now that it wasn’t only a physical moving, but a spiritual moving!  God wants to lead us to the heart of this town.  He promised He will be with us.’  With the love of Christ, Pastor Pali, Szilvia and the church

“I just wanted to take a moment to share a blessing from this past weekend’s bus route, and a good example of how God’s thoughts and timing are not our thoughts and timing.

Our second stop on our route we arrive between 8:50-9:00 a.m. 

Normally we have to wait a few minutes while the kids finish getting ready.  However, this past Sunday was a little different.  Kaleb and Ben went and knocked on the doors as usual, and the rider at Ben’s door came out within a minute or so.  However, at Kaleb’s door he was told the kids were still getting ready, but that they would be out shortly.  After about 8-10 minutes we were all getting a little concerned about getting behind in schedule.  Then a little girl and one of her brothers – who we did not know – came out and got on the bus. She said she saw her friend get on the bus, and wanted to know if she could come too! Of course we told her yes – if her parents said yes – and then she asked if her brother could come.  Yes, again!  So she went back into her home and got her other brother.  Three new riders!  None of which would have happened IF we had not been waiting for one of our normal riders.

After this the wait didn’t seem that long after all.”

We have set the dates for Promotion Sunday. We will be promoting the Sunday School Classes on June 3rd, 2012.

Understand that you will be dropping your children off at their normal classes on that Sunday. However, you will be picking them up with the next grade.

Prepare yourself now.

As a reminder: Kindergarten second hour ministry is directly above the first hour room and is called “Noah’s Park.” 1st – 3rd Grades are in “The Farm” which is directly above the Music Room. 4th – 6th Grades are in “Kidz Church” located in the basement with Bro. Andy.
